Mr Marx Moabelo serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Matlosana, where He oversees all financial operations, budget management, revenue collection, and expenditure control for the municipality.
With extensive expertise in public finance management and municipal accounting, Mr M Moabelo holds advanced qualifications in Financial Management and is a Chartered Accountant. His career spans more than 18 years in public sector finance, with a proven track record of implementing effective financial controls and promoting fiscal discipline across various government institutions.

We strive for excellence in financial reporting, transparency in budget processes, and efficiency in resource allocation. The Corporate Governance Department serves as the administrative backbone of the City of Matlosana Municipality. We are responsible for providing essential support functions that enable all other departments to operate efficiently and effectively. Our focus areas include human resources management, legal services, information technology, council support, and records management.
Our mission is to provide exceptional administrative and support services to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the municipality can deliver on its mandate to serve the people of Matlosana.
Our Human Resources Division is responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and skills development to ensure the municipality has capable and motivated staff.
The Legal Services Division provides legal advice and support to all municipal departments, ensuring compliance with legislation and protecting the municipality's interests.
Our IT Division manages the municipality's technology infrastructure, ensuring efficient service delivery through digital innovation and system support.
The Council Support Division provides administrative assistance to the Council and its committees, ensuring effective governance and decision-making processes.
